Dimitris Vogdanis/Danis, Ores Gallery Owner and Director has been a respected Ithacan Entrepreneur for many years, a supporter of the culture, art, theatre and music in Athens and on Ithaca. His dream for Ores Gallery is for artists of all genres to have a space to exhibit and perform their art on Ithaca.

Local and visiting artists are welcome at Ores Gallery all year around.

Ores Gallery has been designed by Dimitris Danis to resemble a box within a box. Exhibition space and performance space. Dimitris envisages Ores Gallery to be an Artists Hangout where like-minded artists can get together, perform, play, discuss and enjoy each others company in a space conducive to their abilities. During the Summer months, the Art Cafe will also be open for business and the courtyard area will be ideal for sculptors to exhibit their work.

Dimitris Danis hopes that Ores Gallery will bring life to ithacas culture and will entice visitors to the island to participate in exhibiting and performing their art to enhance the Ithaki culture.
